Justin Bieber<\/a> has criticised the music industry, saying he is \u201cnot a product\u201d.<\/p>\n The pop star took to Instagram on Wednesday (December 24) to share snippets of Bible verses alongside his own thoughts on his career.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not speaking as a victim still bleeding \u2013 I\u2019m speaking as someone restored,\u201d Bieber wrote. \u201cI don\u2019t want revenge. I want redemption. I\u2019m not a product. I\u2019m not what the industry demanded. I\u2019m a son.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cBecause I\u2019m healed, I can forgive. Not to pretend injustice didn\u2019t happen, but so it doesn\u2019t keep living through me.\u201d<\/p>\n He went on to clarify that he doesn\u2019t \u201cwant to burn the music industry down,\u201d but explained, \u201cI want to see it made new \u2013 safer, more honest, more human.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p><\/a><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n It\u2019s not the first time Bieber has expressed his feelings on social media. In June, he took to Instagram to open up about his \u201canger issues\u201d<\/a>, and back in March, he\u00a0also shared another message in which he said he \u201chates\u201d himself when he feels that he is becoming \u201cinauthentic\u201d<\/a>, before adding: \u201cThen I remember we\u2019re all being made to think we\u2019re not enough but I still hate when I change myself to please people.\u201d<\/p>\n Prior to that, he shared another post<\/a>\u00a0in which he addressed his struggles with feeling like a \u201cfraud\u201d on social media. \u201cPeople told me my whole life \u2018wow Justin u deserve that\u2019 and I personally have always felt unworthy. Like I was a fraud.\u201d<\/p>\n In April,\u00a0his team dismissed reports that he is in financial distress and \u201cmore than $20million\u201d in debt<\/a>. His reps called the reports \u201cill-informed\u201d and \u201cclickbait stupidity\u201d.<\/p>\n Bieber has also made a return to the spotlight recently and is set to top the bill at Coachella next April<\/a>. He\u2019s reported\u00a0to be earning $10million (\u00a37.3m) in total for his pair of performances<\/a>, which are due to take place across two consecutive weekends (Saturday April 11 and Saturday April 18). That\u2019s a huge $5million (\u00a33.6m) per show.<\/p>\n Bieber hasn\u2019t performed live in the US since\u00a0his 2022 \u2018Justice\u2019 world tour<\/a>. His most recent show took place in July 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. This came as part of a pre-wedding party for the son of the richest man in Asia, with\u00a0Bieber reportedly being paid $10million for the gig<\/a>.<\/p>\n The singer surprise-released \u2018Swag\u2019<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 the follow-up to 2021\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Justice\u2019<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 in July, before sharing the sequel\u00a0\u2018Swag II\u2019<\/a>\u00a0earlier this month.
