Noah Weiland, the son of late\u00a0Stone Temple Pilots<\/a>\u00a0frontman\u00a0Scott<\/a>, sparked fears this month by saying he would \u201crather be dead\u201d than live like his father.<\/p>\n On December 3,\u00a0Noah played a show at the Garden Amp outdoor\u00a0amphitheatre\u00a0in Orange County<\/a> to mark the 10th\u00a0anniversary of\u00a0his father\u2019s passing at the age of 48<\/a>. He played\u00a0songs from across Scott\u2019s career, including classics such as \u2018Sex Type Thing\u2019 and\u00a0Velvet Revolver<\/a>\u2019s \u2018Slither\u2019.<\/p>\n In the days following the show, Noah shared a series of posts on his Instagram Stories that left some followers worried. On December 11, he posted, \u201cThank you everybody. Til next time,\u201d set to\u00a0Green Day<\/a>\u2019s \u2018Last Night\u00a0On\u00a0Earth\u2019,\u00a0while another questioned the money that he made from the tribute show.<\/p>\n Another read: \u201cI\u2019d\u00a0rather be dead\u2026then live the same way my father did.
