Kneecap<\/a>\u00a0have collaborated with Bohemian FC to create the club\u2019s new away kit,\u00a0to\u00a0raise money for\u00a0a Palestinian refugee camp.<\/p>\n The Irish rap trio have designed the one-off jersey in conjunction with the Dublin-based football club, which is fan-owned and not-for-profit, with the aim to pay tribute to the \u201cunbreakable bond\u201d between the Irish and Palestinian people.<\/p>\n The shirt has both the Irish and Palestinian flags interwoven into its design, while the letters C.E.A.R.T.A., which translates as \u201crights\u201d and is named after the Kneecap song, are stitched into the inside neck of the garment.<\/p>\n 30 per cent of profits from the shirt will be sent to ACLA\u00cd Palestine, a community gym\u00a0located\u00a0in the Lajee Centre in the Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, West Bank, Palestine. The money will help build a community music studio to enable artists in the camp to record and produce their own music.<\/p>\n The shirt will be available to buy at the merchandise shop at Bohemian\u2019s home ground Dalymount Park from 1-7pm on Tuesday and Wednesday (December 16 and 17), with any remaining shirts going on sale online at midday on Thursday (December 18) here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kneecap\u2019s manager Daniel Lambert is also the Chief Commercial Officer of\u00a0Bohemian\u00a0FC, and\u00a0has said: \u201cWe are delighted to unveil this jersey following lots of work over the past few months with Kneecap and with ACLA\u00cd Palestine. The rise of the band, to now become a\u00a0recognisable\u00a0name across the world playing to sold out arenas and festival headliners, has been spectacular.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cEven more impressive is to see them continuously highlight and speak about Palestine to\u00a0bigger and bigger\u00a0crowds and be unrelenting in their moral convictions. To have also done this in the Irish language and whilst advocating for the rights of oppressed people across the world is an inspiration to so many people.\u201d<\/p>\n Kneecap\u00a0have made countless headlines in 2025 due to their outspoken support for the people of Palestine<\/a>, and\u00a0rapper\u00a0M\u00f3gla\u00ed\u00a0Bap\u00a0has said: \u201cThere\u2019s\u00a0few sporting clubs in this world who continue to stand strong and unyielding against oppression and in solidarity with the Palestinian people. This project is a symbol of solidarity between Ireland and\u00a0Palestine, and\u00a0serves to overcome the isolation that is forced upon Palestinians by the ongoing violence and oppression of the occupation and the indifference of Western governments and many media outlets.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe hope that the bridge built with the release of this jersey will be the beginning of an enduring relationship and that will result in deep connections between Irish and Palestinian artists that might one day share a stage together.\u201d<\/p>\n\n Kneecap have raised money for Gaza regularly in recent years \u2013 last year, Mo\u0301glai\u0301 Bap raised over \u00a330,000 for food parcels by running 10km a day on tour<\/a>,\u00a0 and they played at the Gig For Gaza in London last December.<\/a> This year, they played a DJ set in London to raise further funds for the people of Gaza<\/a>.<\/p>\n Earlier this year,\u00a0Oasis also teamed up with Bohemian for a new football shirt<\/a>, with profits split between the club, Music Generation Ireland and Irish Community Care Manchester.<\/p>\n That followed\u00a0a collaboration between Bohemian FC<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Fontaines D.C.<\/a>, who launched a football shirt together for\u00a0Medical Aid For Palestinians<\/a>\u00a0(MAP) last year.<\/p>\n In their shirt, the band\u2019s logo was emblazoned on the front of the club\u2019s 2025 third alternative jersey \u2013 a one-off edition designed by guitarist Carlos O\u2019Connell, in conjunction with Bohemian FC designers.\u00a0The design features a Palestinian flag with the words \u201cSaoirse don Phalaist\u00edn\u201d (Irish language for \u2018Free Palestine\u2019).<\/p>\n Greta Thunberg was later pictured wearing the band\u2019s shirt<\/a> in a video that raised awareness for the \u2018Freedom Flotilla<\/a>\u2018 trip.
