Hawaiian Airlines’ Leihōkū Suites have already made waves on international routes on its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, but the airline will soon bring the suites to its enhanced Airbus A330 fleet in 2028. Leihōkū Suites will span international and domestic first-class flights on the new fleet.
The new premium front-cabin experience will include access to an exclusive check-in and concierge service in Honolulu (HNL) and Seattle (SEA); direct-aisle access, lie-flat seating and privacy doors; a 19-inch, 4K entertainment screen, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless and USB-C charging, and AC power; curated dining by local chefs with wine pairings; hotel-quality bedding and enhanced onboard amenities; and Starlink WiFi for Atmos Rewards members.
In addition to the Leihōkū Suites, the airline also introduces all-new interiors to the rest of the A330 cabin, including Premium Reserve, Bluetooth connectivity and upgraded in-flight entertainment systems.
Premium Reserve seats will be available for purchase next summer, rolling out in 2028 as well, on both Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines fleets. This cabin will come to the 787-9, 797-10 and 737-10 MAX aircraft, as well as the A330. Premium Reserve will boast 38 inches of pitch and a wider seat than traditional economy; enhanced recline and a leg and calf rest; large tray tables and convenient storage pockets; 16-inch 4K OLED screen with Bluetooth connectivity; multiple charging options, including AC power and USB-C charging at every seat; premium finishes and materials; and an upgraded dining experience and amenities.
The new addition completes a four-cabin configuration offering guests the choice of Leihōkū Suites or Aurora Suites (Alaska Airlines), Premium Reserve, Premium Class and Main Cabin.
